A week ago Sunday it was about 55 degrees, a little windy, with minimal sunshine. Almost a perfect day for a race. All week both Bob and I geared ourselves up for what we thought would be freezing temperatures and rain/snow. Luckily we did not have to endure that.
Instead we both had an awesome run. We both ran our best times yet. I ran 3.14 in 29:37 which put me at a 9:25 min pace. Bob ran it in 23:11 which put him at a 7:22 pace. He even placed 2nd in his age group and got an awesome red nose pint glass to drink his Beer out of ;) Even though we did not run together we have decided this is our hobby that we share together and we will continue pushing each other to do better to stay in shape. Even Sophie enjoyed watching from the sidelines with her grandparents.
