Christmas from the eyes of a two year old...
As we look back over this holiday season we realize we truly have been blessed with Sophie and our families. This year has been the most fun with her at Christmas though because, she is now at the age where she is grasping the concept of Christmas.
-Saying "Santa Claus"
-Dr Kit for Christmas
-Points at the tree and says Christmas
-Playing pretend with her manager scene and understands who baby Jesus is and that Mary and Joseph are his mommy and daddy.
-Helped make some Christmas gifts- Hand Print Ornaments and Gingerbread boys and girls.
-Loves the Christmas lights and says "oh mommy daddy pretty"
- She is singing Jingle Bells, Frosty the Snowmand, and Must be Santa really well.
- Daddy pretends he is Santa Claus when he shaves in the morning and she giggles and laughs and says "Daddy Santa"
- She and her little friends saw a six point buck out in our babysitter's yard and she keeps saying "Prancer"
- Her favorite Christmas movies are the Muppets and Charlie Brown. Which is fun for us because mine favorite as a kid was the Muppets and Bob's favorite as a kid was Charlie Brown. Towards the end of the season she enjoyed Rudolph and Frosty the Snowman.
- First visit with Santa she gave him a high five "Santa Claus five"
-She helped roll, cut out cookies, ice and decorate them this year. She ate mostly the sprinkles and icing.
- She keeps saying to our stuffed snowman Frosty "corncob pipe, button nose, eyes of coal.
