Who knew with an eighteen month old you'd need so much stuff, in addition to our stuff and my parents things we even need to use the Thule so we could ride a little more comfortably. Wednesday morning we left our driveway about 7:30 am with an approximate 9 -10 hour drive ahead of us and headed South. We only had to stop three times, Daddy drove majority of the way, and Mommy finished up the last 3-4 hours.
Sophie surprised us and was perfect, no major meltdowns and she took some good naps along the way, as did Papaw. The dvd player and Curious George were a blessing.
At about 6:30 pm we arrived at our hotel in Columbia SC. We had some dinner at the hotel and then about 8pm Michael and Lisa stopped by to see us for a quick visit to hash out what events would be going on the next few days.
