Once we got to the stadium we walked around a bit, got some stadium food (aka hotdogs and nachos) and headed to find our seats. To my surprise when we arrived we had seat backs in the A deck near the tunnel...yes Bob has friends that are alumni so they hooked him up with awesome seats.
Shortly after we sat down the TBDBTL took the field. For those of you that aren't familiar with this terminology The Best Damn Band in The Land :) That they are no question about that.
Next came the cheerleaders and the players making their grand entrance. For those of you who have never been to the game everything and I mean everything is tradition. Makes me proud to be a Buckeye and be a part of the tradition. Don't forget the O-H-I-O, Hang on Sloopy, and Script Ohio.
The only glitch in the day was hot it was...in the sun it was close to 100 degrees we drank a ton of water, wore sunscreen and tried to shade ourselves the best we could.
We ended up leaving the beginning of the 4th quarter just because it was so hot and the Buckeyes were kicking Akron's tails.
It was a wonderful day spent with my hubby.
