Potty Training

Don't get me wrong it still might be a little early, but don't stop a good thing from happening right?
Sophie is now to the point where she does not like to be wet or dirty.  She was starting to tell us when she's gone and she's tugging at her pants, and says Eww.  So on Friday and into the weekend we got the potty seats, the sticker chart, some jellybeans, some big girl underwear that she picked out herself and pulls up so we are ready to start, we've made a big deal out of all of it.

Friday she sat on her potty and went pee pee for me for the very first time....I made a huge deal out of it!!!
Then Friday evening we made her a sticker chart so that each time she goes she gets a sticker and a jelly bean.

Saturday we were at my parents house but we took the potty over there with us and she went #1 four times, and went #2 once. The #2 I think may have just been by chance cause she was already there doing #1...again not going to stop it from happening...kinda just going with the flow.

Sunday she went a few times throughout the day, and there were a couple of times she told us but told us after she had already gone in her pull up...but hey at least she's got the idea.

We know with patience, consistency, maybe a little bribery, and practice she'll get the hang of it over a few months.  No rush, but she's doing an awesome job, and we sure are proud of her every time she goes and gets a sticker and a "bean" as she calls it.

So I did not get this posted and a week has gone by and from Monday thru Thursday she was going consecutively about two -three times a day.. then over the weekend we've only potty'd once in our pull up the rest of the time we've kept our pull-up dry and gone on the potty.

We are so proud of her and how well she is doing.
