Instead we headed out to Alum Creek nearby that has a nice beach area and spent the morning since the heat was going to be well over 100 degrees by noon that day.
We had a great time playing in the sand...
Sophie also enjoyed the water and even started putting her head in the water.
Later on Daddy cooked burgers and dogs on the grill and we hung out inside coloring this big house made of cardboard.
Once it got a little darker i got the red, white and blue glow sticks out and we played with them in the bathroom and in our walk in closet because past nine o clock Sophie becomes a bit of a bear.
