We started off here under the arch.....
But first some race day preparation... Andrea drank and energy drink while Chad hooked up her chip on her shoe..
Sophie got in some time on the playground near the starting line...
Here we are 3.2 Miles later.......
Bob telling me to sprint to the finish.......
And we finished...
3.2 miles of shear bliss..my first 5K.... broke my 10 minute mile pace today by running a 9:52 pace....finishing 9th out of 19 in my age group and total run time at 30:38. Finished 91 out of 168 runners. Felt great and my-coach-husband pushed me to run faster.
