Sunday we took another trip to the zoo with Sophie. She is now at that age where she is starting to recognize the animals and be able to tell us what they are. She still loves the animals that swim the most such as the polar bears, the Manatees, the fish, and the Penguins. She started to take an interest in the monkeys and elephants this go around. We had a picnic lunch and let her play on the little kids playground equipment for awhile and headed home shortly after because of the extremely hot temperatures.
