Sophie was thrilled by all of it except for the fire engines honking their horns. After the parade was over with we were headed back to the car and just happened to run into Santa Claus heading into the firehouse. We decided to run up to him and talk to him rather than wait in line to see him to sit on his lap. Sophie was not afraid in fact she gave him a high five and has been talking about it ever since. She keeps saying in her cute little voice "Santa Claus, high five Mommy Daddy." We got it all on video, sorry no pictures.
Saturday Grandma and Mommy went shopping while Daddy and Grandpa entertained and took nap along with Sophie. Saturday evening we had our Thanksgiving feast prepared by Grandma....yummy turkey, mashed potatoes, Great Aunt Becky's stuffing, green beans, corn, and crescent rolls. The only part Sophie ate was the green beans and she had chicken nuggets to go along with them.

Sunday we went to church and then just relaxed a bit before heading home since Sophie had a rough night sleeping and Mommy joined her in her toddler bed about 3:30 am and "slept" there with her the rest of the night.
We are so thankful for both of our families and all the other people we got to spend time with over the long weekend.
