This past weekend we spent the weekend at Grammy and Poppy's. This is Sophie's third time. We drove up Friday afternoon and Becky, Eric, Austin and Aaron got there Friday evening. We had pizza for dinner and Sophie spent the rest of the evening playing on the floor with her cousins and her piggy. Saturday we got up and everyone went to the bike shop to see Austin pick out a new bike without training wheels and a helmet. When we got back to the house it was warm enough for everyone including Sophie to be outside. So Poppy and Eric took the training wheels off of Austin's old bike, he put on his helmet and they spent about a half an hour working with him on riding without them. He did really well and with some practice he'll be riding in no time. Aaron spent a good amount of time in the sandboxes with Austin..not that Poppy created a bridge to connect the two. They also did quite a bit of swinging on the swingset..I think Sophie wanted a turn but she's not quite big enough yet. She definitely was taking in everything the boys did. We had a good weekend overall!
